What are silverfish?
It probably comes as no surprise that, as adults, these insects are silver and have tapered bodies and scales like fish. Young silverfish are white and, of course, smaller. Silverfish have soft, flat, oval-shaped bodies with antennae and no wings. They measure about 1/2″ to 1″ long.
Are silverfish harmful?
